Werewolf Costume
If you’re looking for a super scary costume to wear this Halloween, then why not go as a werewolf? There are some fantastic costumes to choose from for both children and adults.
Two fantastic costumes for children are the Deluxe Werewolf Child costume and the Werewolf Child Costume. The Deluxe Werewolf Costume is guaranteed to get you howling throughout the night with its scary wolf mask with furry brown mane, eye holes and angry grin. It also comes with a long sleeve torn plaid shirt and plastic hands framed in brown fur. Did you know that werewolves often have extra-human strength and senses far beyond both humans and wolves? They are mythical creatures that were once normal human beings but because they were bitten, scratched or placed under a curse by another werewolf, have been transformed into a werewolf with the appearance of the full-moon.
The characteristics of werewolves are well-known because of the plethora of books and movies. They often look like a combination of half-man and half-wolf, or transform into a full wolf but bigger and stronger. They tend to have long hair, hairy palms and sharp teeth. When they transform, a werewolf’s hands and feet turn into paws and their ears become pointed and they start howling at the moon.
There have been many werewolf movies, but my favorites are the ultimate werewolf movie, American Werewolf in London (1981), The Howling (1981), Wolf (1994) with the fantastic Jack Nicholson and the 1995 film, Teen Wolf with Michael J Fox.
Let’s not forget the adult werewolf outfits. There is a really frightening Deluxe Wolf Man Adult costume which includes a quality latex mask with attached mane and realistic facial features, molded chest piece with attached fur; two hand and foot covers with fur patches and black claws. Or you can go for the Wolfman Deluxe Adult costume which includes a hairy-armed shirt with attached period-men’s shirt, a vest, an extremely scary latex wolf mask and gnarly wolf-claw fingertips to complete the look. In case you don’t know who The Wolfman is, check out The Wolfman movie (2010). It’s a remake of the classic 1941 film and stars Benicio Del Toro and is about a man who sets out to look for his missing brother. He soon learns that a creature with brute strength and an insatiable lust for blood has been killing people. While hunting for this beastly creature, he gets attacked and afflicted with the same curse. Not one to be missed if you love werewolf movies.
